ABOUT
Together TakeMeHome

Together TakeMeHome is a program that mails free HIV self-tests, with the goal of making HIV testing more accessible across the U.S., including Puerto Rico. The self-tests are a fast and private way to test for HIV since they can be used anywhere and at any time.

  • The self-test is taken using an oral swab. There’s no blood required.

  • Results are ready in 20 minutes.

  • The self-tests can be used by those who order them or given to others.

  • You can order up to two self-tests every 90 days.

Together TakeMeHome is a collaboration between Emory University, Building Healthy Online Communities, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, NASTAD, OraSure, and Signal. We started this program in March 2023 and mailed out over 250,000 in our first six months. Thank you for your interest in getting tested!
